Bento Wednesday

Last night I made a bento for my daughter. I asked my hubby if he wanted one too but he declined. Apparently dinosaur shaped jelly sandwiches aren't that popular at work!

So this is what she had for breakfast/lunch this morning. We always get up kind of late so what is our breakfast time is when most people are starting to think about lunch.

So here it is:

Today she had:

Dinosaur shaped jelly sandwich (bought the cutter at Target for like $3, it should have made two dinosaurs but the bread we had was unusually small so I could only get one on the bread. Dino eye is just one cupcake sprinkle.

Some pretzel stick "logs"

Pineapple chunks sitting in a cupcake liner so the juice wouldn't go everywhere

Some carrots

and some hot dog coins

She seemed to really like this one. She ate everything except for like one carrot and a pretzel or two.

I was pretty happy with this one too considering....yep....you guessed it! I still have not been to the grocery. I tend to avoid this place unless absolutely dire because we always spend WAY too much. Normally we go when we are either out of cat litter or cat food because obviously those things can't wait!
