ERRRG!

Is that even a word? hahaa So, we have had a fun weekend around here. On Friday and Monday I went to the Gift Mart with my mom and my aunt. This is the sale where the rooms sell all their samples for the year. We had a good time and found some fun stuff...even in the dumpsters hahaa

On Friday I was asked if we would stay the night after our trip so that P could get her pictures taken with her cousins so we did. All went well but I ended up not getting home until late Saturday night. When we got home I could tell something was not right with the kitchen floor. Well come to find out the water line on our fridge has been leaking...bad :( so hubby starts ripping out the floor to see how bad the damage is. Well...obviously it is pretty bad since he took out the whole kitchen floor hahaa but it could have been worse. BUUUUUUTTTT....now my kitchen is a disaster...it smells eek...from the yucky water and stuff and now I very quickly need to decide what I want to do with it. I think since everything is messed up we are going to paint. But what color???? What kind of flooring should go back down? Do we want to go ahead and get the new counter tops I've been longing for ??? seriously if we could win the lottery or something hahaa these things would not be of concern but hello real world gotta decide quick and cheap...the holidays are coming and my house can NOT look like this...it is so depressing!!!

So what color should I paint the walls??? Anybody have any suggestions? I'm thinking some sort of sage green but I'm concerned about the stairwell to this basement since it is a bright lime green it will totally clash. But then again our basement door is almost always shut because of our dumb "can't ever get along" cats! :) I need an inspiration piece...

Well I am being paged hahaa "Doctor Mommy I have a problem!" Hmmm better go check that one out :)
