Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Ours was okay. Nothing super exciting that I can remember. I did get to go to a garage sale. Well I guess it was more of a consignment sale. I had planned to get up early and go when it opened but sleep sounded to good so I didn't go until about noon. I was surprised at how much stuff they had but the prices weren't that great. I figure all that was left was the overpriced stuff! Plus I had P with me and you can't really dig around for the good stuff while trying to keep an eye on her. Anyway I didn't get anything so it was a bust!
Sunday I managed to do a whole lot of nothing until about 10pm and the I felt a little guilty so I did about 15 eBay auctions and went to bed.
Today I thought was going to be a nice day. We didn't get as much snow as they were saying we might get. P and I were headed out to preschool on time. I stood around and talked to some other moms and made our first schoolmate play date. Then I went to a few stores and came back to get P. That is when I find out she was not so good at school today. Ugh...apparently she was not into listening today at all. She got in trouble more than once ...yippee that makes me feel great hahaaa way to start the week! When we got home I made her write a note to her teachers telling them she was sorry. I was going to make her write 3 notes (one for each teacher and one for the director) but that would have been too much for me hahaaa as the one note took FOREVER!!!!! I have a feeling a lot of it was due to lack of sleep. For some reason she could just not settle down last night at all so she was probably just tired...although doesn't make me feel any better.
Anyway as for the project...Sunday as I was doing nothing hubby said he was going to build a phone box. Ummm okay??? Didn't know he had been thinking about it but that's fine so he got out the stuff and made one. It isn't done but is getting there. He let P help measure and glue and stuff. Anyway they had fun. He is going to put it in the barn with his new workshop phone and who knows what else :)
