Spice Rack Makeover - Oh Sweet Sprinkles!

A little while back I was checking out some of my favorite blogs and I came across an awesome idea on Bakerella's blog. She had taken a spice rack and filled it with sprinkles. I was in LOVE!!! So, I've been on the lookout for a cheap spice rack with the right kind of bottles. Well as many of you know I am cheap! hahaha (well except for hubby as he would probably say I'm pretty expensive!) Anyway I found what I was looking for but didn't want to pay the $40 or so dollars so I kept looking. I mean it wasn't like this was something I had to have right this minute so I was patient. Well I think the patience paid off as I found this awesome little rack brand new in the box at Goodwill for $6.50. SWEEEET!

So, I removed all the spices, washed the jars and let them dry. Then I filled them up with sprinkles. I soon found that I had more sprinkles than I had jars so I had pick and choose. I mainly tried to pick the ones I had the most of so I could have full jars. It was easy to do and I think it looks great! The rack is kind of neat too as you can stand on a table, hang it on a wall or fold it to fit in a drawer but of course I'm not putting the sprinkles in a drawer....Nobody puts Sprinkles in the Drawer! (okay that was supposed to be funny (you know from Dirty Dancing- Nobody puts Baby in the Corner ) anyway I think it was funnier in my head!)
