Today we went to one of the local theaters and watched Space Chimps. Each summer two local (well they are both about 20 minutes away) have a free family friendly movie playing once or twice a week in the summer. It is a cheap way to entertain your kid in the summer. They play movies that were popular the previous summer but if you are like me we never go to the movies so it works for us!
We buy the "kid combo" and it is enough for me and P to share. This morning they also had a guy making balloon animals! Fun :)
Although this is almost over for the summer it is something to keep an eye out for next summer. The thing I don't like the most is that it is early ... like 9:30 or 10 am. It is weird eating popcorn that early but how can you watch a movie without popcorn??? :)
