Our Neighbors

Our neighbors have 2 grown twin sons that still live at home. All of them are very nice although I don't talk to them very often. Mainly because I am always inside. I just prefer air conditioning. Anyway they help us out now and then and we do the same. In the picture above you can see the white shed in our backyard. Well, until just a few days ago there was another metal shed beside that one hiding all that junk and beside that was the most horrible tree you had ever seen. This tree had HUGE thorns all over it. The thorns were several inches long and super sharp. Two summers ago P got one through her shoe and it cut her foot, the other day our neighbor lady did the same thing and not to mention it has punctured the mower tires before too!

Anyway several times its been mentioned that we need to cut it down but who the heck wants to cut down something covered in thorns!!! So anyway last night I was just walking by the window and I see Billy (or was it Bob?) (yes that is their names!) anyway one of the boys was cutting it down with his new chainsaw. I told hubby who was half asleep and he jumped up to go help. So they worked on it for awhile but most of it was still standing this morning. Then just a few minutes ago I walked by the window to see he was finishing up.

Ahhh now our crazy tree is gone!!! yippeeee....but now hubby says there are thorns all over from where the tree was to our burn pile. booooooo

Hmmm wonder what the neighbors would think if they knew I was taking pictures of them from my kitchen hahaaa
