I feel so popular! AKA Disney Day 3

Here I thought nobody was even reading the blog and I got a request to finish my trip report hahaa

So, since I feel I have been productive enough today I will try and at least do day 3 of our Disney trip. I know I've been saying I would but man we have been so busy it is crazy. With the trip and then the garage sale and all the regular stuff that happens in life! Okay anyway back on track...

oh but before I forget I think I forgot to mention something funny from day 1. After we got off the plane we then got on the magical express that takes you to your resort. The seats are in sets of two so P and I were together and hubby was across the aisle. Anyway P immediately starts talking to the man sitting behind us and they played peek-a-boo pretty much the whole way to the resort. I kept trying to get her to stop because I didn't want her bothering anyone but I'm sure he thought it was cute or he wouldn't have played with her. I know...not really that funny of a story but the funny part was that he was from France and he sounded just like Mr.Bean and every time he talked I thought I was going to crack up. His name was Pierre. Anywho...

Okay day three....

Took me a second to remember what we did but as I looked at the pictures it is all coming back to me. Probably not in order but it is coming back :) On day three we went to Disney Hollywood Studios or what ever the heck they call it now. Last time I was there it was called MGM which is what I still call it but whatever. Anyway we are all a little tired but got an early start...luckily today our first dining reservation wasn't until 3:40pm so we had a little while to go and see and do. First thing after we got there we saw Chip and Dale signing autographs. Now I didn't make it a priority to get autographs but we did get them when were at the dinners or if there was a short line. Can't remember if I mentioned it or not but I made P an autograph pillowcase to use instead of a book. I think it turned out pretty cute but she could pretty much care less. Actually if I am remembering correctly Chip and Dale were the only ones she wanted all day the others were pretty much a fight! hahaa as we were standing in line for pictures here one of the workers gave P some temporary tattoos so that was a nice little surprise!

So we take off to ride some rides. First ride...Star Wars...short line get up to the door and P starts freaking out. She does NOT want to go on it. So I send daddy on it and P and I waited in the gift shop. That is the nice thing about these lines there is always a chance to get out of line...and there is always a gift shop at the end to wait around in hahaaa We didn't push P to ride anything she didn't want to as we didn't want to freak her out. But really her decisions were very odd..somethings that you wouldn't think would be good for a 4 year old she loved and things you would think she would love she wouldn't even get in line for. (Like the next thing we tried) Okay so after this we thought we would go to the Muppet 3d movie...sounds like fun doesn't it?? Ummm she was having NO part of it...I think part of it was we were kind of tired and we hadn't eaten yet so we were like lets go to the arcade! So we went in the Toy Story Pizza Planet arcade. Nobody was in there so we pretty much had the run of the place. We played a few games and then headed on our way. We were ready to eat but the lunch lines didn't open til 11 and it was like 10 so we decided to do a few more rides and come back.

So, next we head over to Studio Backlot Tour. The line wasn't too long but we didn't make it with the first group of people so we were close to the front of the line of the next group. That is when someone came around saying they needed volunteers. I so happily volunteered my hubby hehee he got to be in part of the show along with 3 or 4 other people that we were in line with. They had them all put on these blue rain suits and shoot different scenes from this movie and then they played the movie with the special effects on the tvs. It was cute. For some reason though P was not thrilled and was crying she wanted her daddy back. Actually though P was super good the whole trip she just had a few moments here and there ...don't we all? and that morning seemed like the worse but really...for those of you that know her she was really good. She held my hand, stood in line and was overall just very good!!!

Okay well here are some pics from hubby's movie debut!

After this we went back to the Toy Story Pizza Arcade and had lunch. We each got a meal but I know the three of us could have shared two meals. It was way too much food. Pizza, salad and dessert. It was pretty good too but it was super crowded. I was glad we did the arcade part earlier as now it was really busy!

Okay now onto some more rides and stuff except I am sure they are out of order. Anyway we did the Magic of Disney Animation tour and at the end of it there is a place to meet Mickey and some other characters. I didn't know this so we didn't have our pillowcase but that's okay because she freaked out at Mickey and wouldn't even see the others. She even was scared at the cardboard cut out of

Wall-E hahaa (see her hiding behind him)

After this hubby wanted to ride the Tower of Terror. P wanted nothing to do with this so we got some cotton candy (in the gift shop of course!) and sat and waited.

Well we were walking around and just happened to be standing right where the parade was about to be so we stopped and watch. The parade was really cute but man it was HOT where we were standing. There was no shade, no wind and it was about 2:30 so pretty close to the heat of the day. I couldn't even imagine being in one of those costumes but it was cute and not too long so we watched hahaa

After the parade it was time for our reservations at the Sci-Fi restaurant. This is at least the 3rd time that I had eaten there but I knew P would love it. So we get there and they can't find our name so it was a good thing I had the confirmation number with me. Turns out they had spelled my name wrong. I mean I don't think we would have been told no or something but we might have had to wait longer so we sat for just a few minutes and then we were seated. Our waiter was pretty good and we had a whole car to ourselves. When he took our order he told us we were sitting in a "special" car and would get a prize at the end of dinner. ooooh how exciting we kept guessing what it would be...none of us guessed it but at the end we got 3 souvenir cups filled with caramel corn. Anyway I like this place! It is nice and cool and the cars and old movies are so much fun! I do recommend getting a burger and a shake because I mean what else would you get a drive in? (with the food plan we were able to get shakes for our drink and then we still had dessert on top of our meal...ugh talk about being full..I could hardly take a bite of my dessert which was too bad because it was delish! (apple crisp in case you were wondering!)

After dinner when we came out the weather was actually pretty nice. The sun was starting to go down, there was a nice breeze, we rested up and ready to hit some more rides and what does my sweet little 4 year old decide she wants to go on next?????

The Tower of Terror!!! Yes, the same little girl that wouldn't go see the Muppet Movie wanted to go on the this ride that takes you way up in the air and then drops you over and over and over hahaaa so we took her I thought once we got in line she would change her mind....Nope! Instead she talked to the people behind us...are you excited? I'm so excited! This is going to be fun over and over so we went on it. She did good but when we got off she started crying and saying it made her sick. I quickly rushed her off in case she did actually get sick...but she didn't! but she didn't want to ride it again.

After this hubby went and rode the Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster and P (who wasn't tall enough thank goodness) and I sat outside and watched people. P made some "friends" with two little kids and they danced and jumped all over the place. It was cute.

After this we headed back to the hotel and when we got there our maid had left us a cute washcloth castle on the table! How fun!

We rested for a few minutes and then went and got some food at the food court and then decided to take the boat from our resort to Downtown Disney. This actually turned out to be a lot of fun but since it was so late we didn't have much time to look around Downtown Disney. Once we got there we did go in the toy store and P got one of the My Little Pony sets where you can stuff as much pony stuff in a box for like $18 dollars or something like that. She got one pony and a ton of accessories and outfits. The outfits are made to look like Tink, Belle, Cinderella, etc. Really cute and turned out to be great for her as she played with them a lot when we were in the room and even now that we are at home. They also have the same thing but it is Mr. Potato Head parts and they are Disney themed. I kinda wish I would have gotten that too but P hardly ever plays with her Potato Head but she loves her ponies! Anyway so we really only had time for that one store and then if we wanted to take the boat back we had to get back. Now we could have stayed longer and taken the bus but the boat was so relaxing we wanted to do that! When we got back P had to play with her ponies for a few minutes and I got things ready for the next day and hubby...fell asleep!

Stay tuned...day 4!
