Must.Stop.Spending.Money

Well I am back ...again...feel like that is all I ever say. Life just gets so busy ya know?!?!! So here is my first excuse...my desktop computer got a horrible virus and pretty much doesn't run at all now. We spent a good week downloading/running/trying all sorts of different virus type programs and got nothing. Now luckily I have a nice little laptop that I would only use on occasion but now it is my full time computer. At first I wasn't thrilled but I am starting to like my little laptop except it doesn't have all my favorite programs on it yet. The only thing I really don't like is the keyboard. I guess I am still getting used to it but I am having to hit the backspace button way too much!

Okay what else....mmmm I've been taking a cake decorating class. I think I will make that a new post though since I have some pictures.

We finally started our living room update. Can you say hello orange walls??? hahaa well I like to call it pumpkin spice but the first time someone walks in I'm sure they will say wow that is really ummm orange! hahaa we also bought a new couch but it is out in the barn until the painting and flooring are done. Which will hopefully be soon :)

Speaking of pumpkins....last weekend we went to a local fall festival and they had a table that had a HUGE pumpkin on it and you were supposed to guess how much it weighed. I told hubby we should guess and he looks at me like I'm crazy and says, " and just what we would do with that thing?" hehehehhee Well...I'm sure you know where this is going...Monday he calls me and says guess who just called. I said I didn't know and he said a girl called and said he could come pick up his pumpkin hahaaa he guessed 121 lbs. I still need to get a picture of it but it has been so rainy!

Last week I went on a field trip with P's class. That was fun. It was called Touch a Truck and they had all sorts of different trucks that the kids could get in and look around. P's favorite was the Dolly Madison truck because they were giving out doughnuts! They also had fire trucks, farm equipment, mail trucks, trucks with buckets, a small train...really just all kinds and it was a pretty good time. Oh except when I lost two of the four kids I was in charge of hahaa well actually they were never lost but for a moment I thought they were and I kind of freaked out!

Ummm what else...couple of weekends ago we had a HUGE garage sale. Wow is all I can say about that but we made enough to buy my new sectional.

Oh yeah my title post...seems like that is all I've been doing lately. Spending money. Cake class has cost me a fortune as we have needed so much stuff. Plus the new couch and paint and just daily whatnots. Like this morning I ran into Target to get 4 things...butter, paper towels, ice cream and cheese slices. So that is what like under $15 and of course I walk out with a cart full and spend a hundred bucks. So like I said...must stop spending money...or at least get some stuff listed on Ebay so I can pay for said stuff!!!

Oh yeah P was sick one day the week before last and stayed home from school. Well ever since then she won't get out of the car in the morning in the dropoff lane. Well I shouldn't say never but twice now I have had to pull into a spot and practically drag her in crying. She says she just wants to be absent. Of course when I ask her teacher if she settled down okay she said oh yeah she had a great day...seriously??? I mean I'm glad but of course I worried the whole time. Today she got out like normal so I'm hoping that little episode is over because it did not make for a good morning!!!

Okay well I better go...gotta go get P from school. Hopefully she had a great day. I will update soon on my cake class...fun stuff :)
