My friend Joy over at Joyslife.com is the sweetest person. Not only is she extremely crafty and great with the Cricut she is very caring. Joy has a Facebook friend that has a little boy that loves to make cards and things. So she asked what his favorite kind of cards were and he said Christmas so Joy has asked her friends to all make Christmas cards for Christopher and link them up to her site. If you want to read about this and participate then check out THIS post!
So I decided to join in. I didn't have any Christmas cards made up already because well I normally slack in the Christmas card department! Two years in a row I have not sent out any cards at all. Oh well look at all the money I saved hahaa
So this afternoon my daughter and I got out the Cricut and played around. I ended up making this card which I think out turned pretty good. Of course it looks better in person because Stickles are sooooo shiny and of course I messed up in a few places but I won't point those out!!!
Anyway here it is:
(Inside of card)For the card I used blue and silver cardstock from one of those Die Cuts With a View Stack Packs, the images were all from the Cricut cartridge "A Child's Year" , the ribbon was from Target Christmas clearance and some Diamond Stickles. Okay I take that back I "think" the snowflakes on the inside of the card are from something else??? or maybe not...I should have written it down and I already cleaned up or I would check! Oh and the little sticker inside was from Making Memories...a little pack that once again was from Christmas clearance :)
Oh and even though the card says Let it Snow ... do not think in any way that is what I want...I am SO over snow it is not even funny!!!! It is supposed to in the 50's this weekend and hopefully that will melt off any big snow piles we have left!!!
