Rainbow Brite Gets an Update!

Awww, does this bring back memories? I grew up in the 80's so of course I have a love of Rainbow Brite, My Little Ponies, Smurfs and well you know all things 80's. I was really excited a few years ago when I saw that My Little Ponies were making a big comeback ( I don't think they ever really left but they were getting made over) and I am just as excited to see that Rainbow Brite and her friends are making a comeback!

If you have been in Target or Toys R Us lately maybe you have seen the new line of toys...they are so cute! You can go HERE to check availability at stores near you. Watch out for Rainbow Brite, her two loyal friends Moonglow and Tickled Pink, and their companion horse friends: Starlite, Shimmer and Sunriser.

I am pretty old school and like Rainbow Brite the best but all of her friends are really cute and the horses are adorable!!!

Rainbow Brite has blasted back onto the doll scene with a vibrant makeover, continuing to delight children with her empowering and imaginative adventures as she spreads her positive messages of courage, kindness, and hope. How could you not love that?

AND...she has a great website! If you go to Rainbowbrite.com you and your child can play fun games, watch video clips and do other fun activities for free.

My little girl loves the puzzle section and sat and played it over and over. She also loves the coloring pages!

I don't know what it is but I really enjoy seeing my little girl play with things I had when I was her age!

When I asked my daughter, age six, what her favorite part of the CD was she said EVERYTHING!!! I asked her what if she had to pick just one and she said she liked the song and the puzzles.

Recently MomSelect and Hallmark provided me a Rainbow Brite CD pack to help share the new Rainbow Brite with myself and other moms. I passed my CD's out a playgroup but I do have one left over that I would love to share with another mom if anyone is interested!
